cassionData Analysis

Why this exists

Monitoring and evaluation officers, public health analysts and humanitarian information managers do serious analytical work with little formal training aimed at their actual conditions. The datasets are messy in specific, repeating ways. The tooling is split between Python and R depending on who held the post last. The questions are operational, not academic.

Every course here is taught in both Python and R, on data shaped like the data that arrives, with the awkward parts left in.

The ecosystem

This is the first site of a wider set of courses undercassion.dev. Each subject gets its own subdomain, sharing one catalogue, one dataset library and one set of career paths.
