Nutrition programme dashboard
An end-to-end dashboard tracking CMAM admissions, cure rates and defaulter trends, built so a programme manager can spot a stockout risk before it disrupts treatment.
PythonRCommCareWHO Child Growth StandardsResults-Based Management (RBM)
Context
- Organisation
- District nutrition programme, 12 CMAM sites
- Problem
- Admission figures reached the programme manager six weeks after the reporting month, so RUTF stockouts were discovered only once they had already interrupted treatment for children in the outpatient programme.
- Audience
- Programme manager and nutrition coordinator
- Decision it informs
- Which sites to reallocate RUTF stock to before the next quarter opens.

The problem behind the dashboard
The programme was not short of data. Every site submitted a CommCare form for every admission. What it lacked was a way to see the current month while the month was still current.
This project builds that view, and states plainly what each number counts.
